The DO501 can be used for measuring DO2 levels in tanks, ponds and lakes and is ideal for spot checking areas that are prone to low DO2 allowing corrective action such as aeration to be put in place.

A user friendly, function key driven operator interface allows easy access to all levels of the instrument’s functionality. A graphics display presents the dissolved oxygen, temperature and barometric pressure readings.

The instrument is able to store up to 40 DO2 readings, eliminating the need to make an on-site hard copy record of
individual measurements.

The Instrument is sealed to IP65 standard, and powered by an internal, rechargeable NiMH battery.

Continuous battery condition indication is provided, plus a “battery low” warning.

The instrument utilises a high accuracy, low maintenance sealed galvanic probe and is supplied complete with battery charger, probe and carrying case.

The easy to follow calibration routines built into the instrument’s software are password protected to eliminate any risk of accidental calibration loss.

With the wireless link option the DO501 can be mounted at the waters edge. This will then allow remote monitoring of the DO levels from a PC up to 4km away. A useful option at vulnerable times, i.e. summer nights, after a new fish introduction, winter ice conditions or during algal blooms.
